Along with our Veterinarians and Farrier; Serena is an integral part of our horse management team who keep our horses healthy and sound. She is expertly trained, uniquely skilled, intuitive and absolutely passionate about her work! She does bodywork on all three of our horses and is able to produce immediate and lasting results. Through her skillful use of TBT, Serena has been able to align many structural corrections that other practitioners were simply not able to address. Our horses love her, look forward to her sessions and respond well to her positive energy. She interacts well with Veterinarians, Farriers and other practitioners in a respectful and collaborative manner. She is prompt, reliable and accommodating. As if this was not enough, Serena shares loads of educational information during her sessions, has an easy manner about her and a fun sense of humor. Her visits to the barn are a delight not only for the horses, but for our human family members as well!

Serena has been working with my mare Sammy for the last year and assisting me with chronic lameness issues, hoof weakness and possible immune imbalances. In working with Serena, I have seen Sammy improve in multiple areas. Serena has worked on imbalances within Sammy while also making suggestions for my farrier, veterinarian, chiropractor or other support personnel I typically work with. Serena embodies the finest attributes and qualifications of any bodyworker/healer that I have ever worked with. She is an excellent communicator, with the ability to be specific but not overwhelming with the details you need to know. Her empathy for both horse and human is clear from the minute she starts working with you. There is never a question of her expertise and she is a team player who provides excellent service and advice for what to do next. Oftentimes, she has found areas that needed work before my traditional support personnel did. I have regularly called her for advice on my next steps with Sammy and she responds quickly and offers real answers or suggestions. Serena's expertise, supportive attitude and professionalism have been a godsend to me and offered me peace of mind in assisting my mare. My confidence in Serena's abilities also led me to reach out for help with my dog who was facing possible surgery because of some abnormal bloodwork. She suggested looking at his diet, supplements and general health, then made a number of other excellent suggestions. We have seen improvement recently and so far have been able to avoid the surgery. I count on Serena as a critical member of my team in keeping my horses, dogs and myself happy and healthy.

I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but Serena has literally change my life. And I know that her company is called Aligned Equine and most of her work is for horses, but let me tell you about Jessie... 10 Years ago I adopted an adorable mutt puppy who turned into an amazing dog. She went everywhere with me and got along with anyone she met in any situation. When she was 2 she was attacked by a dog; her best friend and our life changed. Anxiety and fear stole my sweet pup, I couldn't take her anywhere and couldn't trust her around other dogs. She would no longer cuddle in bed and if I tried to hug her, she'd brace and growl. We tried training designed for fear aggression but had no luck. So we adapted and spent the next 7 years heartbroken. Then about a year ago Serena said "let me try". And through a lot of hard work on both Serena and Jessie's parts, I am getting my girl back! She is calmer, cuddlier and trustworthy. She is once again glued to my side and going places with me. All our friends comment on how much calmer and happier she is. I am even crying as I write this! Thank you Serena. I am grateful everyday for the gift you've given us.
